Children's Programs
Tiny to Two Mondays @ 10:00 a.m.
A special storytime for babies.
Meets in the Secret Garden Storytime area.
Make and Take Mondays @ 4:00 p.m.
An afterschool program for school age children
from 1st grade on up.
Meets in the Secret Garden Storytime area.
Chess at the Library Tuesdays @ 6:00 p.m.
All ages and abilities welcome.
Chess lessons begin and at 6:00 p.m.
followed by open play co-sponsored by eXtreme Chess.
Fun for all ages. Meets in the Secret Garden Storytime area.
Toddler Tales Thursdays @ 10:00 a.m.
A storytime designed especially for toddlers.
Ideal for children ages 2-6 years old.
Meets in the Secret Garden Storytime area.
Music & Movement Wednesdays @ 10:00 a.m.
Fun musical stories and activities for babies and toddlers.
Meets in the Community Room.
Bilingual Storytime Friday @ 1:00 p.m.
Stories in Spanish and English followed by an activity.
Fun for children of all ages.
Meets in the Secret Garden Storytime area.
Puppet Show: First Saturday of the month @ 12:00 p.m.
A different puppet show will be offered the first Saturday of each month.
Fun for the whole family. Performed in the Secret Garden Storytime area.
Teen Programs
Teen Tuesdays Tuesdays @ 4:00 p.m.
Come to the library and help write Xeenage,
a magazine written for teens by teens,
and serve on the Library's Teen Advisory Board (TAB).
Meets in the Teen Scene area of the Library.
Practice Aqui Thursdays @ 6:30 p.m.
Spanish and English conversation group for teens and adults.
Attendants must have conversational speaking abilities
in Spanish and English to participate.
Meets in the Community Room.
Adult Programs
Boise River Lecture Series: Usually Meets Fourth Tuesday of the month @ 6:00 p.m.
Adult environmental lecture series co-sponsored by Idaho Rivers United.
Meets in the Community Room.
Adult Computer Classes Wednesdays @ 8:30 a.m.
Learn Computer basics. Pre-registration is required.
Practice Aqui Thursdays @ 6:30 p.m.
Spanish and English conversation group for teens and adults.
Attendants must have conversational speaking abilities
in Spanish and English to participate.
Meets in the Community Room.
AARP Tax Aide Saturdays @ 10:30 a.m - 2:30pm Feb 2- April 12
Free tax help for low to middle income people with special prefernce given to senior citizens.

Parenting Lecture Series
April 15th @6:30pm Tips for Happy Parenting. Sponsored by Albertsons. Join us in an informative session on Early Childhood Development 0-5 years old in the Community Room. Daycare will be provided for potty-trained children at The Teen Scene area. The children will enjoy a movie in our new HD LCD screen.
Big Read Book Discussion
